MEMBER NUMBER CHANGES COMING IN JULY
Railway Employees Credit Union is currently undergoing a Member Number Conversion. However, this will not alter most of your current services in any way. Your current checks will clear correctly, so you will not receive new checks. Your electronic transactions, such as direct deposit, payroll deduction, and automatic drafts from your accounts will clear correctly. You do not need to contact your employer, or any merchants you do business with, to change the account number. Your Visa Check Card will continue to work, so you will not receive new cards or PIN codes.
The first phase is ongoing. The second phase will be to convert all current members to the new 6-digit Member Number. The conversion will occur on Saturday, July 21. Your new member number will be provided to you through your Member Statements, so be sure to check your upcoming statements!
